Woman suffering from headache, specifically migraine, are more likely to suffer from depression disorder, feel exhausted, and have a host of other severe physical symptoms, according to a study published in the January 9, 2007, issue of Neurology, the scientific journal of the American Academy of Neurology.

The medical study involved 1020 woman who buy citalopram at headache clinics in seven different countries. Of the people surveyed, 112 reported occasional headache (fewer than 15 headaches monthly) and 443 had chronic headache. Ninety percent/% of the women were diagnosed with migraines.

The medical trial found women with chronic headache were four times more predisposed than those with episodic headache to report symptoms of major Manic Depression.
